Welcome to the WWWATER Virtual Learning Center. This is the training area of WWWATER. If you are taking a long-term class, this is where you will come for all sorts of things!
In order to use this site to its full potential, you will need to register by creating a username and password so that you have access to the registered users area. To do this, you just click on the class name below (in the "Available Courses" area), then follow the directions. Once you are registered you need to remember your username and password that you created, because you will be able to use it each time you enroll in a class. You will need these every time you enter the student (registered users) area of the site.
After you register, you will then need to enroll for your class. Once enrolled, you will be able to:
-
take tests
-
check your grades
-
contact the teacher and other students
-
get ancillary information (such as formula sheets, some class handouts, and other helps)
-
check the class calendar
-
get announcements
-
participate in class discussions
-
and more!
You should have received a Course Enrollment Key sometime during your course enrollment or your first class. Enter this when enrolling in your course. You will only need this once for each course/class that you enroll in. Once you have enrolled in the appropriate course, you can discard the key, as you will not need it again.
Have fun, and enjoy your class.
More information on the Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation & Maintenance long-term class can be found here.
More information on the Collection Systems long-term class can be found here.
This Video walks you through creating a new User Account in the Virtual Learning Center (VLC) and then enrolling in a Course. It also shows you haw to access your grade book.
In order to gain full access to the Virtual Learning Center (VLC), you need to do two things:
1) Create a new user account (if you haven't already)
Creating a user account allows you to access the VLC system.
2) Enroll in your class
Enrolling in the course tells the system what class you are going to participate in. This allows you to take exams, participate in forums, view announcements, your grades; and download supplemental files and other course materials.
This video tutorial will walk you through the process.
This is the link to the Student Info/Data Form for the Long-term classes. If you are going to enroll in a long-term class (or if you have already), you will need to fill this out.
